Baking with Plath

So the blueberry muffins didn’t go so well yesterday afternoon. They were from one of those Betty Croker box mixes so they bluberries were in a tin can. The tin can was evil.  I mixed up all the wet and dry ingredents and all I had left to do was put the blueberries in the mix. I have a shitty can opener that didn’t work. I ended up just stabbing the can until most of it was cut and then bent back the lid. I cut my finger on the can and there were little pieces of metal in the blueberries. I don’t have a strainer so I had to use paper towels. There are purple stains on my little Ikea mat in front on the sink now. I finally got everything ready to go into the oven after an hour. It took 50 mintues to get into the can of blueberries. Ridiculous.  Then when I was baking them the bottoms got all burnt. Not too badly so they are still ediable. I hate gas ovens. I forget how hot they get so fast and how the cook everything faster than electric ovens. And stupid me for setting it to the wrong tempeture. Dark pans heat faster at lower tempetures. And I don’t have tuperwear big enough to fit all the muffins so they are in 3 different small ones.
